Does anybody here who love to keep 5cents, 10cents and 25cents?
Most of us, (me as a guilty one) instead of using those coins for paying our bills we usually keep them (or worst scenario is we ignore them) while others donate them to NGOs, Bantay Bata and the likes.
Good news is that, in Waltermart they have this Coin Campaign. You can exchange your coin with them and get incentives. Using those three mentioned coins, you can earn 5% or 1Php for minimum of 20Php worth of coins. Wow! That’s truly worth the exchange!
I’ve tried it with my 60pesos coins (combination of 5cents, 10cents and 25cents). I have them exchanged in Waltermart Guiguinto. And I got 63 pesos in return (not bad at all, imagine I got 3 pesos of incentives).
Now, I do encourage everyone who keeps coins to either donate them or have them exchanged instead of just keeping them.
Remember that even the BSP encourages us to re-circulate the coins.
