Green Tea flavored Samanco

Though it's chilly right now because of the storm,  who wouldn't want a sweet treat for a tooty bite.  Samanco released their Green-tean flavored ice cream sandwich and it's now officially in the Philippines. From a fan of Samanco ice creams,  indeed!  I can say that it's awesome. Well, most of us might say that this type of ice cream sandwich is another good version of bungeoppang in Korea, wherein red bean paste is the common fillings. Here in this ice cream sandwich, it has red beans too BUT with green tea flavored ice cream.  For those who are fond of green tea but would love to try the ice cream version of it,  I think this Samanco ice cream is a must try. I bought it here in the Philippines for only Php50. It is also similar to Taiyaki in Japan,  a japanese fish-shaped cake.

Enjoying in Vikings SM North Edsa

My partner and I were on a hunt for a good buffet restaurant in Manila.  Since we never tried Vikings before,  we decided to go and check the place.  We've made reservations prior to the actual date as we assumed that there will be tons of people. That day is the birthday of my partner so we grabbed the opportunity for the Birthday Celebrant discount. We went there at 11AM, and they told us that we can start eating. The place was actually spacious and ambience was great.  They have their own bathroom if you are curious to know. Foods come from varieties.  Chinese,  Japanese,  French cuisine, Filipino dishes and many more.  Desserts were very tasty and satisfying.  I also like the idea of singing a happy birthday song and giving cakes for the birthday celebrants.   Customer services were fine and they've attended to our needs very nicely.  We paid for PHP774.90 only,  since my partner was free from paying coz it was his birthday. . For me,  the foods were good since they have different dishes plus the fact that it's a buffet and we stayed for almost 3hrs,  men!  Truly worth the price!
